THERMISOL 22 A 
Medium Fast Quench Oil 
Description 
THERMISOL 22A is medium fast quench oil 
designed for the heat-treating of steel in a wide 
variety of quenching operations. It is compounded 
with paraffinic base oil for oxidation resistance, 
excellent wetting ability and minimum sludging.  
THERMISOL 22A should be used where 
conventional quench oil is required and distortion 
and cracking is a concern. Should fast quenching be 
required on carbon steels or alloy steels, 
THERMISOL 1021 or THERMISOL K-9 is 
recommended.
