Description
GLEITMO SIL 1381 DE is a specially formulated grease-like silicone compound blended with fine thermally
conductive metal oxide powders. This formulation results in very high thermal conductivity, low bleed, and
excellent high temperature stability. This highly viscous product will tenaciously adhere to metal surfaces
without hardening, melting or drying out even when exposed to high temperatures for extended periods of time
Field of application
GLEITMO SIL 1381 DE is commonly applied as an interface to facilitate the transfer of heat from one
component to another, or to even out the temperature from local high temperature areas by conducting heat to
larger, cooler areas. Typical applications are for use on transistors, diodes, rectifiers, and transformers.
Method of application
GLEITMO SIL 1381 DE can be applied by automated pumping systems or manually by brushing or wiping.
Before starting, check the container. If excess oil shows on top, mix the product thoroughly until it is uniformly
dispersed.
